Snitch locates adult images on your hard drive

Snitch uses a powerful algorithm to scan all image files on the target system and to prioritize them based on their level of suspiciousness. Most adult images usually contain certain tones and distribution that allow them to be identified from other image files. The Snitch algorithm is extremely effective, usually finding inappropriate images on a computer in the first page of image results, allowing you to quickly and easily ascertain whether or not the target system requires further scanning.

Utilizing a range of techniques, including tone gradients, color matching, grid functions that check for tonal distribution and dispersion, as well as compensating for exposure and contrast, Snitch parental controls software sorts adult content with accuracy, while reducing false positives.

Because some images share the same characteristics that adult or obscene images do, the search algorithm may classify them as potentially suspicious. For example, a photo of a closeup of a woman's face in a family setting would be difficult to tell apart from a closeup of a woman's face in a pornographic image. For this reason, closeup portraits and other innocent pictures showing substantial portions of bare skin can sometimes become incorrectly classified as porn images.

However, as potentially suspicious or adult pictures appear very early in the results of a scan, they can easily be assessed by the program user. Download a free parental control software demo NOW.
